Pablo Endres, Founder of SevenShift GmbH. Experienced security consultant, professional hacker and trainer.

Pablo’s career has taken place mostly doing security in a variety of industries, like Cloud Service providers, Banks and Telecommunications. He holds a degree in computer engineering, as well as a handful of security certifications (e.g. ISC2 CISSP, CompTIA Security+).

In the last couple of years, he has been working mainly IoT security, testing devices, working with multiple platform providers to secure their solutions, and teaching an IoT Security Bootcamps.

Atanas Rusev is a long years Senior Embedded SW Engineer.
He graduated electronics (bachelor and master) and has been focusing on the SW side of embedded devices.

Since 2010 he works completely in the automotive sector specializing in SW development, architecture, custom algorithms, requirements engineering and all levels of SW development.

He has one additional course in ISO 26262 for functional safety, created several ISO and SPICE based processes and served as technical team leader.

Matthias Wachs is Lead Engineer for Cybersecurity and Connectivity in TÜV SÜD’s business unit for Highly Automated Driving (HAD).
Matthias participates in the development of the ISO/SAE 21434 standard and the UNECE WP.29 regulation on cybersecurity and software updates. Before working for TÜV SÜD, he worked as a security consultant focusing on automotive, medical and industrial attacks.
He studied computer science at Universität Karlsruhe (TH) and obtained a Ph.D. at Technical University Munich (TUM) in this field from for his work on secure, resilient and decentralized networking applications.

The workshop lays the ground theory on Bluetooth LE. Presents some of the tools and then goes directly into hands-on exercises with them.

Cancellations are not permitted. In case you are not able to attend to the ECS 2020 Spring Edition please refer to Substitution Policy.

Substitutions are allowed in case you are not able to attend the ECS 2020 Spring Edition. In this regard, a written permission of the original registrant is needed which should be send to ECS Team. Note that there will be 50€ processing fee for any substitution.
